Hippocampus - about the game

Lord Moebius consumes a dangerous hallucinogen to sharpen his memories and reunite with his lost betrothed, Lorelei. This unleashes nightmarish monstrosities born from the visions. Players confront them in a third-person hack and slash game with fast-paced combat, brutal mutilations, and varied enemy behaviors. Tackle hard platform phases, solve environment puzzles to unlock new areas, and battle challenging bosses. A unique health system drives the thrilling old-school action adventure filled with gore violence. Hardcore fans of demanding combat and precise platforming will find a tough test here.


Hippocampus is a challenging third person hack and slash with fast paced combat system and platform phases, focused on mutilations and different enemy behaviors. Play as Lord Moebius who made use of a dangerous hallucinogen, the datura stramonium, to make his memories vivid in order to meet again Lorelei, his lost betroathed. Face the monstrosities given birth by the hallucination, solve environment puzzles to access new areas and discover the truth behind the disappearance of Lorelei.
