1. Stroy
In 2040, rifts in spacetime known as āGatesā appear worldwide. At first, those who entered out of curiosity simply never returnedābut after a massive explosion, aberrant entities began consuming cities. In response, nations formed joint response units centered on āAwakenedā individuals, and the player is selected as their operator. The mission: enter each Gate, destroy its core to seal the distortion, and eliminate any remaining threats. As the seasons progress, analysis of Core Gems and mission logs accumulates clues about the forces behind the Gates.
