主人公杨树是个27岁的颓丧医生，对每天的生活并不怎么积极。这都是因为小时候经历过的一件往事深深改变了他……某天，接到老同学的电话，说有一个神秘的女人高额在聘请随身家庭医生，杨树决定独自前往女人家中面试。后来，杨树调查到了女人奇怪的身世竟然和自己也有关系，你们决定一起去一个地方，在那里，恐怖世界的大门已经打开……

美术设计
这是发生在中国本土的故事，在制作初期，为了表现剧本里的年代感以及真实感，采用了真实场景实拍后期+写实立绘的设计。这是一个大胆的决定，为了找到剧本里描述的场景，做了上千公里的勘景和实地拍摄。因为实景是不可控的，中间发生了许多惊险和惊喜。
剧情之中
这不是一个恋爱青春的故事，这是一个发生在中国的一个普遍但又光怪离奇的故事。想通过这个故事，通过杨树去表达一个普通人自身的喜悲。主人公没有任何的超能力，在一个绝不寻常的冒险中，留给他的武器只有求生的本能和对真相的执着。
剧情之外
ADV也应该是有与时俱进变化的——因为这个坚持，本作中会看到一个普通ADV所没有的一些东西。尽可能的用新的系统，去让玩家真正能沉浸在故事中。“全景探索”“步行模拟”“QTE操作”等2D ADV很难见到的东西，我们也通过自己的方式加入到了作品中。希望能达到一个更好的演出效果去提升整个故事的渲染力。
