ZOMPELL
Zompell is a first-person zombie survival shooter that blends intense action with tactical combat and atmospheric world design.
You play as Captain James, a soldier whose helicopter goes down deep inside a restricted zone known only as Fort Apex.
Cut off from command, surrounded by the infected, and haunted by the ghosts of a failed experiment, James must fight to survive long enough to uncover the truth about what really caused the outbreak.
Guided only by a distant voice over the radio — Lora, an operator from Command — James must navigate a collapsing world filled with death, decay, and unanswered questions.
Every encounter brings him closer to understanding the bioweapon that turned humanity against itself, and to discovering the strange power that now runs through his own veins.
CAMPAIGN MODE – THE FALL OF FORT APEX
The Campaign Mode of Zompell offers a fully crafted single-player experience.
It begins moments after the crash — smoke rising from the wreck, static in the radio, and the distant echo of the undead.
From there, James’s journey will take him through burned-out camps, twisted industrial ruins, and the dark heart of a contaminated city.
You’ll restore an abandoned satellite uplink, reactivate an experimental combat drone, and survive defense sequences as entire hordes rush your position.
The further you push toward Fort Apex, the more you uncover — and the closer you come to the truth behind the infection.
Inside the ruins of a hospital, you’ll face grotesque bio-mutants and claim the first Blood Shard, unlocking a weaponized power inside yourself.
In the later stages, that same infection becomes your tool — granting new elemental abilities drawn from the creatures you destroy.
The campaign concludes in a desperate stand at the extraction point.
With the sky swarming and the ground crawling, you must hold your ground long enough for the rescue helicopter to land.
The final stand leaves no room for choice — only survival. As the dead close in from every direction, your only goal is to hold the line long enough for extraction to arrive. Every bullet, every breath, and every second becomes a fight against the inevitable.
SURVIVAL MODE – FIGHT UNTIL NOTHING REMAINS
Beyond the campaign lies the Survival Mode — a test of endurance, reflex, and strategy.
Here, there are no missions or story prompts — only waves of the undead that grow stronger with each round.
You begin with limited weapons and must earn Spell Points by eliminating zombies.
As you eliminate enemies, you’ll earn spell points that allow you to level up, unlocking stronger abilities and more advanced gear with each stage of survival.
Each of the four Power Categories — Fire, Cold, Blood, and Shadow — defines a distinct style of combat.
Fire scorches everything in sight, Cold slows and freezes, Blood feeds your strength through the enemies you kill, and Shadow lets you bend the fight with stealth and corruption.
Players can hold one ability from each category, creating a personalized balance between offense, defense, and survival.
The mode takes place across several maps — including the Base Camp, Village, and Refinery — each offering unique terrain, environmental hazards, and wave behavior.
As you progress, bosses will appear, testing your mastery of the powers and your resource management under extreme pressure.
