Speak and Die.
VHS // Bleach and Bones: Ritual is a first-person psychological horror game set in a haunted house gripped by a demonic presence. You play as Alex Moore, an urban explorer drawn to a forbidden VHS tape. Inside the Hollow House, something watches. Something waits. And it can hear your voice.
This game is built around a linear, cinematic story filled with scripted events, secret lore, and environmental puzzles. Every detail is handcrafted for immersion, from your synced breathing and heartbeat to the flickering flashlight and fully interactive Ouija board.
Microphone-sensitive gameplay: the game listens to your actual mic. Whisper too loud and you’ll be found.
VHS 1990s aesthetic: scanlines, flicker, static, CRT grime.
Atmospheric & immersive: story-driven with no cheap jumpscare spam.
Realistic flashlight physics: soft flicker, delay, panic reactions.
Ask the board: Ouija interaction with unlockable questions based on your exploration.
Puzzles woven into the environment and lore, solve them to go deeper.
Cinematic cutscenes and scripted scares tie the nightmare together.
The house is alive. And it listens.
Created by a solo developer with 20+ years of professional coding experience, now crafting a deeply immersive horror experience for players who crave atmosphere over jump scares.
Coming Halloween 2025, wishlist NOW to be among the first to enter Hollow House.
