“A Ghost Journey” is a 2D pixel-art platformer that focuses on precision jumping and blends stealth and possession mechanics in a creative way.
One of the key features is the possession system. Neutral creatures each have their own movement and AI behavior. You’ll need to observe them carefully, sneak close without being noticed, and find just the right moment to take control. It's a mechanic that adds both puzzle-solving and strategic thinking to each level.
Stealth is another important part of the game. By studying patrol patterns and behavior logic, you can find narrow openings and clear stages in a smooth, satisfying sequence.
The game's 2D pathfinding system is also a big focus. No matter where you hide, enemies will track you down, adding constant pressure and tension throughout.
This is a solo-developed project, and I'm aiming to create something a bit different from most platformers. Visuals and sound are still in a rough state, and there’s a lot I hope to improve. But if this type of experimental design feels interesting to you, I’d be truly grateful if you could add it to your wishlist. Every bit of support makes a big difference and keeps me going.
Thank you for your time—and I hope you enjoy this journey.
