In the beginning was chess, and chess was good. Then chess got too good, and thus chess became less good. But then chess got Hexagon, and harmony ensued.
This is a pretty polished lean implementation of Glinki's Hexagonal Chess. The game itself is pretty old (~75 years) and got lost to time with its creator's death. It's worth another life.
It's similar to usual chess we all know & love, but it uses hexes instead of default square grid. That changes the whole meta, invalidating tons of pre-existing memorized plays & allowing for actually experiencing the game anew.
