About the Game
Ghost Merc: Frontlines unfolds in a world gripped by geopolitical turmoil and escalating conflicts. Players assume the role of elite mercenaries, recruited by various factions to execute high-stakes missions across the globe. As tensions rise and alliances shift, players must navigate a morally ambiguous landscape where survival is paramount.
Core Gameplay Features
Tactical Gunplay – Engage in fast-paced FPS combat with responsive shooting mechanics, recoil control, and weapon handling.
Matchmaking & Server Browsing – Join matches via automated matchmaking or manually select servers for testing.
Game Modes – Experience team deathmatch-style gameplay. More game modes to be released in the future
Manipulate Dynamic Objects - First iteration of object manipulation for dynamic cover creation (example: you can pick up objects and place them strategically for cover creation)
Basic Weapon Loadouts – Test an initial selection of firearms, each with distinct stats and handling.
First Iteration of Sound Design – Weapons, footsteps, and ambient noise contribute to immersion, with more refinements on the way.

THE IRON VIPERS
The Iron Vipers are a ruthless, highly organized paramilitary group that operates like a well-oiled war machine. Composed of ex-special forces, rogue operatives, and mercenaries loyal to the highest bidder, they prioritize precision, strategy, and superior firepower. Their code is simple: win at all costs. They work under powerful corporate and military contracts, executing high-risk missions with brutal efficiency.

THE BLACK REVENANTS
The Black Revenants are an elusive and deadly insurgent force, thriving in chaos and guerrilla warfare. Made up of defectors, rebel fighters, and underground assassins, they specialize in hit-and-run tactics, sabotage, and psychological warfare. They fight not for money, but for power and vengeance, striking fear into those who stand in their way.

About the team: We're a small indie dev team (100% gamers), aiming to develop a fun and competitive FPS game without useless and overwhelming mechanics like sliding while shooting and "abilities". We believe that a much simpler gameplay is the way to success, as games need to feel fun, enjoyable and not feel like another job unless you aim for that. We are currently developing the game in Unreal Engine 5, using both custom and paid customized frameworks to achieve our goals.
