About Beyond the Edge

Beyond the Edge - about the game

Three hundred years after the event which they now call Impact. Humanity has overcome the plague and put together shattered pieces of civilization. It is now entering a new age. A golden age of culture and technology for some. A deceptive age of decadence for others.

You tell them that it's the result of traveling to the black zone, to the site of the first Impact. The infection changed your skin forever, you say. But there's no truth to it. You were never human.

An outcast, a freak, anyone who doesn't scream for the Inquisition to come is your ally. Together you build a safe place, you become a force too costly to fight. But even there, among your friends, you still hear voices. Someone sings in the dark. They were always there, long before humans existed. And they are looking for the blood of their own.

Your ambitions are costly. And the only way to fulfill them quickly is something few people take on. Lands are filled with mutated beasts, unfortunate victims of the Impact. Purging those lands fills your pockets, makes enviroment safer, and brings new allies to your castle.

Gather your party and develop skills of its members, both magical and physical. Improve your castle grounds by building new structures. Craft rings and pieces of gear, experiment and refine your purification skills.
