You Go First! is a chaotic 1-8 player online co-op game where you play as inmates given a chance at amnesty. The condition is simple: clear 5 minefields across different locations. The problem? You weren't given any probes, so you'll have to test the ground with your own two feet.
A High-Stakes Puzzle
The defusing mechanics require a cool head (and preferably someone else's legs). Step on a tile, and numbers will appear on your mini-map, hinting at how many explosives are hidden around you. Figure out where the charge is hidden and carefully place a flag. Just don't make a mistake. If someone steps on a live mine, there won't be much left of them. But as long as at least one of you survives to clear the zone, all fallen comrades will automatically respawn on the next level.
"After You!"
This game is the perfect way to ruin friendships. Why risk yourself when you can just pick up your buddy and throw them right onto a suspicious spot? Shove each other, set your friends up, play Rock-Paper-Scissors to decide who checks that far corner, nervously smoke on the sidelines, and dance on the graves of the unlucky ones.
Watch the Weather (and Watch Your Back in the Dark)
Dynamic weather won't let you relax. Rain or snow? Bearable. A hurricane-force wind? Hold on tight, or you'll literally be blown right onto a live explosive. And when the sun goes down, mines are no longer your only problem. Something is hiding in the shadows, and it really doesn't want you to live to see the morning.
Tools for Survival
Scavenge for useful loot right on the level or buy supplies in the shop between runs with your hard-earned cash. Your arsenal goes beyond bare hands:
Dummies: A friend stepped on a live mine and is afraid to move? Quickly swap them out with a sandbag before they get blown to pieces!
Equipment: Metal detectors for safe scouting, powerful construction lights, and flares so you don't become someone's dinner in the dark.
Medicine: Revive items for fallen comrades that can save a doomed run.
And Much More: From tactical gear to absolutely absurd items that will make your shift even more chaotic and unpredictable.
Prison Chic
Even on a minefield, you can look stylish. Customize your character before heading out on a mission: choose the color of your jumpsuit, and pick out ridiculous accessories, glasses, mustaches, and hats. Make your inmate unique so your friends know exactly who they just shoved into a crater.
