The inspiration for SOULMATE: DICE IN LOVE comes from Spellrogue (Dicey Dungeons) + ぜったい絶頂☆性器の大発明!! + Xenoblade 2, making it a “Dice Roguelike X GALGAME” hybrid. This game caters to both roguelike and galgame enthusiasts, so it just a casual roguelite game. Pure galgame players interested solely in romance can easily clear the story mode. ^_^
Of course, I've also attach great importance to the experience of roguelike players. The full release will include advanced difficulty modes, allowing players to challenge themselves, build stronger skill set, and fully enjoy the thrill of dice-based roguelikes. ^_^

In SOULMATE: DICE IN LOVE, you—an ordinary person—unexpectedly obtain the "Love Note". It allows you to summon your "Soulmate", who destined for a fated romance with you.
In other words, you'll fall in love with a beautiful girl who suddenly appears. ^_^
Of course, fortune and misfortune go hand in hand—the succubus queen has set her sights on your body...
You and your "soulmate" will grow closer and strengthen your bond each time you repel the succubus.
Naturally, with your unique constitution, you won't have just one "Soulmate." ^_^ (See "Character Profiles" for details on the top)
As a dice-based roguelike, the core gameplay is straightforward, much like Dicey Dungeons, Spellrogue, and Dice Legends.
1. Roll the dice.
2. Drag dice onto skill "cards" to meet their requirements.
3. Activate the skill effect.
4. Eliminate all enemies to win the combat.
Beyond the core dice-skill driven mechanics, you can gift "Presents" (relics or artifacts from other games) to your "Soulmates" during matches. These Presents alter rules and transform gameplay. Mysterious events, elite encounters, and boss battles further enrich the experience.
Don't be discouraged by defeat—you'll grow stronger next time! Outside the match, you can develop abilities and unlock (upgrade) more Soulmate Master skills to ease your next run. Of course, if you are familiar and understand the game, you can clear it without these aids. After all, this is a casual game.

When facing succubus, your "Soulmates" aren't just beautiful ornaments—they're empowered by "Love Note", gaining strength beyond the ordinary. Each character possesses unique skill combinations. As your tacit understanding grows, you'll unlock her new skills. Choose your favorite set!
You're no weakling hiding behind beautiful girls. You'll wield Soulmate Master (player) skills to fight alongside your "soulmates"! Of course, as the commander, your wisdom is your greatest weapon. ^_^
Acquire diverse equipment during runs to refine your skill builds. Combine them with Character skills and Soulmate Master skills to create amazing synergies!!!
2. Collect new skill cards to your heart's content.
In most deck-building games, players often skip rewards containing "useless" cards to avoid bloated decks that hinder key card draws and slow deck cycle. After all, delete cards is precious!
Here, you can freely collect new cards—with 15 inventory slots, freely swap your equipped skill combinations outside combat.
That seemingly ordinary card you hold now might synergize perfectly with one you acquire later. If you encounter a "high-cost" skill card that's hard to use immediately, simply stash it in your inventory. Bring it out and use it effortlessly in the late game instead of skip it outright. ^_^
3. Simple Map Path Selection.
For players like me who aren't quick thinkers, roguelike games like Slay the Spire often demand extensive time spent observing and selecting the optimal map route. To make gameplay more accessible, I've make the "scheduling system"that match the plot(players work part-time at a convenience store) to handle map route selection.
At the start of each week, the manager presents four shift schedule options for you to choose from. Selecting one automatically sets it as your current map route. This approach is highly intuitive while preserving both randomness and the player's right to choose. ^_^
4. Love both victory and beauty.
Typically, winning matches is the primary motivation and positive feedback in roguelike games. This game incorporates GALGAME elements, allowing players to unlock romance scenarios with characters after matches. You earn love through your wit and sweat, amplifying that positive feedback! If you feel women are slowing down your dice rolls... don't mind my words. ^_^
The full release will feature:
10+ playable characters. Once development reaches a certain milestone, I'll release a playable demo alongside a crowdfunding campaign. If successful, additional funding will enable the creation of more characters.
Each character possesses 8 skills. The Soulmate Master boasts 24 skills. Over 100 equipment skills are available.
100+ gifts. You can discover powerful synergistic effects.
60+ enemies, including 7 bosses with distinct mechanics.
50 random events—perhaps you'll uncover "easter eggs" in these mini-stories.
10+ advanced difficulty levels. Catering to hardcore players' thirst for challenge, these difficulty levels comprehensively test player skill.
The above details the scope of the dice roguelike. Regarding the visual novel aspect, each character features 5 story chapters, totaling approximately 15,000 to 20,000 words. The overall text volume is around 200,000 words. (Use the source language for statistics.)
Due to varying reading speeds and the requirement to unlock story chapters through the dice roguelike, experiencing the full story is estimated to take at least 10+ hours.
