The Story
The world has fallen to the Behemoths—colossal, otherworldly entities of unknown origin. Forced to abandon Earth, humanity now survives in exile, divided among the East, West, and Central Branches in space.
To fight back, technology was developed to extract entities from the Astral Plane, forging them into powerful android warriors known as Conduits. Paired with Operators—gifted humans capable of syncing with them through a process called tethering—these warriors were humanity’s last hope. But the war was lost. The Operators fell. And the reclamation of Earth became a distant dream.

The World of Remnant Blade
Eastern Branch
A highly advanced artificial metropolis deep inside the Moon, hidden from Earth’s turmoil. Despite its utopian facade, a dark secret threatens its very existence.
Western Branch
An underground city on the Earth, struggling to survive amid scarce resources and constant danger from Earth’s monstrous Behemoths. Crime and decay dominate this dystopian refuge.
Central Branch
The last hope for humanity, a massive ring world serving as a command center for the war to reclaim Earth. Every battle brings them closer to saving their home from extinction.
The Astral Plane
A realm of pure thought and energy, where logic breaks down and reality bends. It can take on countless forms, shifting through cultural eras, time periods, and the imagination of those who enter. Powerful beings shape its expanse, but an unknown darkness threatens to corrupt it and invade humanity’s dreams.
Within the expanse of the Astral Plane are isolated and self contained realms. Numbered eras are designated realms where Behemoths have been discovered.
Playable Characters
Evelynn the “ninja girl”
The Operator’s first Conduit and a Kunoichi from the 3rd era Eastern Branch. She reaches 100% sync with the Operator upon pairing. Her mysterious past somehow solidifies this connection. She vows to protect the Operator with her life.
Rinne the “Goddess of Fire”
A Deviant or corrupted being who was born from the flames of battle through a Conduit with immense willpower. She is an anomaly within the ranks of the Behemoths and acts of her own free will. Warning: Do not pursue Rinne! She makes a pact with the Operator in exchange for restoring something very dear to him.
Kyo the swordsman
A rare male type Conduit from the Eastern Branch who is a renegade Drifter; wandering swordsman. Arrogant and cocky, but has the skill to show for it. He wields a cursed blade that can cut through time itself which he is very protective of.
Esme the spec ops cat
Drifter from the Eastern Branch who lost her Operator. She wanders the surface with high level resourcefulness and survivability, often relying on her gadgets to get by. She creates an exo suit that replicates full sync, allowing her to tether with anyone seamlessly.
Vex the blazing fury
A Deviant under the command of Rinne that make up the Crimson Brigade. She’s hot headed and fierce but has a soft spot for the Operator. Vex has a very close relationship with Lily and Rinne; something extremely unconventional with Deviants who usually lack any kind of elements of sympathy humanity.Â
Elaine the Last Knight
Also goes by Ella; prefers never to be called by her old name. Last surviving member of the Western branch 2nd era. An incorruptible Knight who wishes to restore the fallen Western branch to its rightful glory.Â
Lily the Succubus Queen
Member of the Crimson Brigade branch of the Deviants. She captures humans on the surface to become surrogate Deviant Operators. Unlike normal Deviants who are tethered to an unknown central entity, the Crimson Brigade is disconnected and require tethering to humans.
Jade the Dark Elf
An ancient Deviant from the 1st era Western Branch. Freed from corruption, she partners with Ella to restore the Western Branch.
Fallen Hero
A man of unknown origin who accompanies the Crimson Brigade as their servant. He is a hollow and empty body puppeteered by a demonic entity.Â
Vivian the temptress
A blader from the 5th era Eastern Branch. A refugee from the fall of the Western Branch.
Nyx the shapeshifter
A Deviant originally from the Eastern Branch. She was experimented on, resulting in her unique ability to shapeshift, change forms, and mimic combat abilities.
The Operator
The Operator specializes in basic modern firearms and can be controlled in 1st person during some parts of the game; most notably lower risk areas on the surface to find Drifting conduits dead or alive to tether with. The Operator has his own motives and personality as he takes the player for a ride on his journey through 1st person.
