Overview:
The Rake is a Single-player open-world survival horror game where you have to hunt down and kill the urban legend "The Rake". You can use guns, melee weapons, beartraps, a handheld motion sensor, gun attachments, trail-cams, medical equipment, food, and anything else you can find to survive, defend yourself, and win against The Rake while exploring or doing quests in the detailed and realistic open world.

Dynamic Day/Night Cycle with Dynamic Weather, Volumetric Clouds & Fog, Visual Effects, & Sounds with over 15 different weather variants including blizzards, thunderstorms, hurricanes, light snow, heavy fog, dust storms, and more. When its raining you can see the water dripping off your weapons/gear, tree trunks, cars, foliage, buildings, gloves, sleeves, everything and when its snowing you are also able to see the snow attach to everything the rain does like buildings, weapons, gear, etc. The Player, Rake, and all other movable objects can also create paths in the snow or ripples in the puddles on the ground too.

Lore:
The main campaign takes place in Hells Valley National Park in Pennsylvania, which has been closed off to the public for years due to dozens of murders and unexplained disappearances. You have been invited by your friend to help him hunt The Rake after years of tracking down its home. You arrive only to find a blood stain, flashlight, and a frantically written note. This is where the main quest picks up, which revolves around going from location to location searching for your friend while completing mini-objectives and having to defend yourself from The Rake along the way. The main quest is non-linear so you can complete any quest at anytime, it's also completely optional so if you want to just explore the map and kill the rake you can do that too.
Analog Horror:
The game also has an analog horror series that takes place fully in-universe. The first season is currently on-going & will give backstory/lore for the first campaign: Hells Valley National Park & future seasons will focus on future maps and campaigns slowly building and expanding the world and universe adding more lore.
