Mini-Dungeons are short, setting-agnostic adventures for 5th Edition which can be easily inserted anywhere in your campaign.This bundle contains five such adventures for use with Fantasy Grounds Classic or Fantasy Grounds Unity (line of sight included).
MINI-DUNGEON #181: WHAT SHALL WE DO WITH A DRUNKEN SAILOR?
4-5 Characters Level 3
With its wide hull and shallow draft, the Silver Swan easily sails the great lake and its connecting rivers, ferrying passengers and cargo throughout the region. Captain Diran Coralini and her crew are known for offering swift and reliable travel, even when other ships are becalmed. Rumored to be able to call upon the winds, Coralini's secret is a magical incense burner she uses to summon an air elemental to fill her sails if the need arises.
Kurzen, a cultist of Pazuzu, learned of the magic censer from the ramblings of a drunken sailor. Seeking to turn the elemental to the service of the demon lord of foul winds, Kurzen has concocted a plan to steal the censer from under the captain's nose. However, the cultist did not count on adventurers also being on board.
MINI-DUNGEON #182: SECRETS OF THE SILVER MOUNTAIN SAGE
4 Characters Levels 8-9
The wizard Yinan, the Silver Mountain Sage, did not want his disciples to dwell on the past, but to prepare for the future. He designed the foremost part of his crypt with public spaces for meditation and learning. To reach the back of the crypt, where Yinan's memorial and tomb lie, one must traverse a series of hallways intended to confound any spirits that might try to enter or leave the tomb. Rumors persist that a treasure is hidden in the crypt, despite assurances from the caretakers that this is untrue.
The characters are called in to rescue those still within the crypt and to determine what has enraged the spirits, so that they may be placated.
MINI-DUNGEON #183: TIME VOID
4-6 Characters Levels 9-11
A rebellious voidling in service to the void dragon Malinda set up the perfect ambush and devised a mechanism that transported the dragon into an extra-dimensional time-stasis chamber just before the killing blow was delivered. Once time was restored in the chamber, the dragon would be dead, and the voidling would be spared instant death when the dragon detonated.
The voidling needs help so it summoned the Void to these caves, knowing that the havoc caused would bring in the nearby villagers to investigate. They would be easy to dominate, and their deaths would be of little consequence.
It did not expect adventurers.
MINI-DUNGEON #184: CAGED AS A BIRD
4-5 characters of levels 4-5
As a local church has been digging space out for its cellars, they stumbled across a pre-built chamber; even more strangely, it appears to be inhabited by a songbird who requests help in freeing her soul.
The heroes have been enlisted to investigate and help the songbird if they can.
MINI-DUNGEON #185: HULK OF HORRORS
5 characters of level 4
On their way to another adventure, the adventurers chance upon a serpentfolk war hulk adrift on the Astral Sea. Characters recall that such hulks are powered by phylactery drives: engines that harness the essence of a disembodied lich to propel the hulk across the multiverse. Discovering a hulk that has been abandoned--as this one appears to be--is either a stroke of incredible luck or a sign of ill fortune.
Unbeknownst to the party, this war hulk's phylactery drive contains not just any lich, but a legendary sorcerer king of old. Recently, the lich discovered a way to wrest control of the hulk from his captors. The lich awaits a band of unwitting adventurers to release him from his prison.
