The LEGO DC Heroes & Villains Bundle delivers two distinct action and adventure experiences on PC centered on the DC Comics universe. Released in 2020, the package pairs LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham with LEGO DC Super-Villains, allowing players to explore superhero and supervillain stories through brick-built environments and character-driven gameplay.
Gameplay
Core gameplay revolves around action sequences, exploration, and puzzle-solving in open-world settings drawn from DC lore. In one title, the focus shifts to space-based missions where heroes unite against a cosmic threat. The other emphasizes villain-led progression across Earth and other locations, with customization options for the protagonist. Both entries support local co-op through shared or split-screen play, enabling two players to tackle challenges together while switching between available characters for varied abilities.
Game Modes
The bundle supports single-player campaigns that advance through narrative levels and hub areas. Shared and split-screen co-op extends the experience for local multiplayer sessions. Open-world navigation forms a central element, with players moving between story objectives and free exploration in each game.
What the Bundle Offers
Combining a hero-focused space adventure with a villain-centric open-world title provides variety within the same package. Players encounter familiar DC characters and settings reimagined in LEGO style, progressing through linear story segments alongside broader world traversal. The PC version includes standard features such as achievements and cloud saves.
Is It Worth Playing?
Player reception on Steam stands at 89 percent positive across more than 13,000 reviews for the bundle. The games suit those who enjoy action-adventure titles with co-op support and open-world elements. Local multiplayer adds replay value for pairs, while the dual campaigns offer separate hero and villain perspectives. No ongoing seasons or major updates have been released since the 2020 launch, so the experience remains as originally delivered. It appeals most to fans of LEGO-style gameplay who want both sides of the DC conflict in one purchase.
