Every Colonist Has a Story
Your villagers are individuals, not just statistics. Each colonist has a name, sex, age, life stage, skills, and traits. They are born, they grow up, they learn trades, and they eventually grow old. As they work as woodcutters, miners, or crafters, their skills improve, making them faster and more productive over time. Unused skills slowly decay, rewarding careful management and specialization.
Winter is a Boss Fight
Three interlocking needs drive your colony: Hunger, Warmth, and Health. Spring and summer offer a calm building experience where crops grow and wild resources flourish, but the turn of the seasons brings severe danger. Winter halts farming, accelerates hunger, and drastically drains warmth. You must prepare fuel, stockpile medicine, and build a network of lit hearths to survive daily weather events like cold snaps and blizzards. If a villager's core warmth or health drops to zero, they will incapacitate and eventually die if left untreated.
