Five Nines - Datacenter Simulator puts you in charge of a datacenter — not from a menu, but from the server room floor, in first person.
Order the hardware, unpack the deliveries, set up your racks, mount servers and switches in the right U, then cable everything, for real: every RJ45, every power cord, every fiber goes through your hands. Press the power button and watch the LEDs come alive. Now the hard part begins: keeping it all running without a single interruption.
The real job
42U racks, 1U and 2U servers, storage, 24- and 48-port switches, patch panels: every machine is mounted from the front, in the right U, and given a hostname
Dual power supplies: feed A on the red PDU, feed B on the blue one
Port-by-port network cabling, cable reels, bundles and cable trays
Meet-Me-Room: OM4 and OS2 fiber, optical panels and carrier contracts to bring the Internet all the way to your racks
Hot and cold aisles, InRow cooling and, as you progress, the advanced operations mode: electrical switchboards, breakers and cold-aisle containment
Your customers forgive nothing
Work orders come in with an SLA to meet: installations, cabling, repairs. Every ticket you close pays and earns experience; every missed SLA costs you. And the room won't wait: overheating, hardware failures, power outages, heatwaves, power surges, carrier outages.
Collect rent from your customers, pay for electricity, site costs and salaries, expand your rooms, unlock 26 skills and earn the availability certifications, from 99% all the way to the famous five nines: 99.999%.
Never alone on the floor
Co-op for up to 4 players: share a session code and build together, or run a dedicated server
Hire technicians: juniors fix failures, seniors take tickets and carry them out with the same moves as you, then leave you to check and close them
In the office, your technicians grab a coffee, hold meetings and challenge each other at ping-pong — the table is fully playable, go beat them
