That’s when the private military corporations swooped in, hoping to uncover the secrets of the anomalies. The most infamous of these was the Parallax Group. They were well-funded, ruthless, and dead set on figuring out what made The Zone tick. These days, no one knows if they’re still out there. Some say they’re gone for good, while others whisper about shadowy figures and advanced tech still roaming the islands.
Heirloom: A ragtag group of loners and misfits trying to do some good in a place that’s mostly bad. They’re scavengers, researchers, and medics, patching up wounds and digging up answers about The Zone’s mysteries. Parallax left a big footprint when they were here, high-tech equipment, strange experiments, and a reputation for getting what they wanted, no matter the cost.
