"Death and Tactics" is a top-down Strategy RPG inspired by "Lisa: The Painful" and the "Fire Emblem" series with a heavy focus on permanent death elements. With 51 playable characters, each with their own unique items to unlock and events to experience depending on on who lives and who dies in your party, "Death and Tactics" is an incredibly replayable experience where your choices in the gameplay have long lasting consequences.
One of the overall goals is to be a Strategy RPG that doesn't waste your time. Permanent death is incorporated into almost every system to create convenience. Players won't ever feel pressured to do something like restart a level if one of their party members falls in battle. Each death or mistake creates a new strategic opportunity for the player to explore.

During the events of the story, you play as Tanya, a young woman in her 20s, an aspiring playwright, and owner of a mutated horse.
However, her happy-go-lucky life is soon interrupted by the cruel realities that come with trying to survive in the apocalypse. Join her and her friends as they undergo a journey of loss, vengeance, and growth across this ruined world and interact with the freaks that inhabit it.
