Have fountains of lava burst out of the ground so your players need to plan their movement carefully, or use large springs of lava flowing down cliffs as roadblocks until your players find a way to plug them to move deeper into the dungeon. Use the blue lava to show that the deadly heat has been decreased, or make it a fully magical volcano where mana is so dense that it can physically harm your heroes!
