Keep on your feet as you constantly change ends, performing unique turnback procedures at Hadfield and Glossop on the well-known triangle junction at Dinting, before making the sedate run back to the grand Manchester Piccadilly.

Rail aficionados know the Glossop Line as a remaining relic from the former Woodhead Line. Truncated at Hadfield, the old line was advanced for its day, featuring steam-era DC electrification, still somewhat present today in the form of older style gantries, albeit modified to support today’s AC technology.
