Free Solitaire - Art brings 110 card sets drawn from public domain scans and photos of 14th-19th century European paintings to your casual PC sessions. These decks feature styles like early, high, and late Renaissance, Northern Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo, Neoclassicism, Romanticism, and Realism, with 65 J.M.W. Turner landscapes serving as subtle backgrounds. Images often get flipped or cropped to fill small card frames perfectly, keeping key details like faces clear of rank and suit markers. Play classic solitaire using these art-infused decks, and tap the built-in editor to craft your own sets from favorite artists. Prominent creators from Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, France, the UK, and Germany dominate the collection, skipping Impressionism, Medieval works, or non-European art. NOT included: Impressionism and any later styles, the Medieval or earlier art, other cultures/continents.

Some images are flipped horizontally to let the picture fit into the card's frame and not let an important detail (e.g. face of the character) get covered by the rank/suit signs. Many of the images are cropped to fit into the card's proportions. Cards are small, so I prioritized filling the whole card's area and zooming in on the composition center.

The DLC covers only the most prominent artists of the selected period, which are mostly from Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, France, the UK and Germany. If you are into art or are an artist yourself, I encourage you to make a card set with digital scans/photos of your favorite artists with the in-built card set editor in the game.
