Skyrim Anniversary Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch 2

You cannot keep Skyrim down, and now it is heading to Nintendo Switch 2. The Anniversary Edition, the most complete version of Bethesda's fantasy giant, is coming to the new hardware, and this time the little handheld actually has the muscle to do it justice. Here is what we know.

Skyrim has been ported to just about everything with a screen, but the original Switch version, while a technical marvel for its time, was held back by aging hardware. Bringing the Anniversary Edition to Switch 2 fixes that, pairing the definitive content bundle with a console that can finally run it properly on the go.

The Anniversary Edition is the everything package: the base game, all three official expansions, and a big pile of Creation Club content layered on top, from new quests and dungeons to weapons, spells, and gear. Why the Switch 2 version matters

The whole point is the hardware jump. Switch 2 has far more power than the original, which should translate to better performance, sharper visuals, and faster loading than the aging Switch port ever managed.
